The tackle fished with was as follows:
Poachers Pocket mini-rod and reel.
Reel line was 4lb Maxima Chameleon, straight through.
There was a size 8 shot about four inches from the hook.
The hook was a Kamasan size 16, with a single white maggot as bait.
I used a white maggot as it stands out better in the water; it’s very visual when the water is clear.
