Today’s session saw perch and roach on the bank.
It’s great to watch the fish in the shallow, clear water.
I also witnessed a small pike take a roach.
The latter was probably not a good choice, as it struggled to engulf it due to its size.
It was holding on more than anything and the last I saw of both fish was when the pike took the roach to deeper water.
