When on vacation, I enjoy walking around with my binoculars taking in the local bird life.
I keep a list and, in the case of this week’s trip to Anglesey, the ticks are recorded on a daily basis.
The highlighted birds are the first sightings.
It’s just a casual approach that I take, after all it’s not a bird-watching holiday where that’s the focus and the main reason that I’m there.
Most importantly, like everything else in life, it’s all about enjoying what you do and I most certainly love birding.
