They think it’s all over, it really is now as we say farewell to a long 2021/22.
It’s been a good one though for The New Saints, with the best-ever European campaign, winning the JD Cymru Premier and now lifting the JD Welsh Cup.
The grand finale of our season was played out at Cardiff City Stadium and it looked very comfortable going into the final six minutes 3-0 ahead.
However, Penybont FC struck twice to make the added four minutes a nervy time.
Fortunately though, there were no more goals and we secured the eighth Welsh Cup final victory in the club’s history.
