Although it is just inches deep and very clear, I’ve had some nice perch and reasonable pike from there in the past.
My only concern was if the water had warmed up sufficiently to attract the fish from the deeper section of the venue.
Sadly, that wasn’t the case and a number of casts which produced nothing confirmed that.
Before I returned home though, I decided to have a few chucks into the aforementioned water that had more depth.
