As far as the fishing itself was concerned, I was right about the fish expected.
I caught lots of roach but no perch, which was still great. I caught.
Although I invariably have a species in mind when I go fishing, it’s never a disappointment if something else turns up instead.
In my mind, there’s no such thing as a nuisance fish.
