As far as underwater features are concerned there aren’t any at the moment.
The swim I fished has very shallow margins that extend for about six feet and then it drops off to four feet deep.
Give it a number of weeks and there will be lilies and other such growth but for now it’s featureless.
I fished beneath the branches of a common alder that hangs over the water, so the feature on this occasion was above the surface as opposed to beneath it.
