Going into the game against Penybont FC, The New Saints knew that they needed to avoid defeat in order to secure the JD Cymru Premier title.
However, at the break it didn’t look good, as the visitors to Park Hall had a 2-0 lead.
The second period went the way of TNS though and goals from Ben Clark and Ash Baker, plus an own goal, meant that everything was now back on track.
Even though Penybont scored a late equaliser, it counted for nothing as far as the big picture was concerned,
As soon as Bryn Markham-Jones blew his whistle for the final time, it was title number fourteen for The New Saints.
