There is a charity shop in the local village and I decided to go and have a look to see if there was any vinyl.
There was, and not just the usual Perry Como, Harry Secombe and classical albums either.
Not that I’m criticising them, but if you browse charity shops for records, you’ll know what I mean.
There were a few soul items – both 45s and 33s – and then I came across a Commodores album as I flicked through.
Unfortunately though, I already have that one – Midnight Magic – in my collection.
Then I found one that I didn’t. Commodores Live! from 1977.
