All’s Well That Ends Well

I was out early this morning, fishing a pool that has featured a lot in recent blog entries.

I thought I was looking at my first blank there as well, however that wasn’t to be.

A shoal of small roach, right at the end, meant that I had some late action.

I fished with a Greys Prodigy 12’ rod and a Shimano 3500 reel loaded with Maxima Chameleon 4lb line.

There was a 1 metre length of 3lb 8oz Drennan Team England joined by a loop-to-loop knot.

The float was a 0.6g Drennan Crystal Waggler. The hook was a Drennan Super Specialist size 18.

I fished two lengths out with brown crumb and mixed maggots and single white maggot on the hook.
