Not that I believe in luck, far from it, but after two lost pike it was good to actually get one in the net at the third attempt on the lake that I’m currently fishing.
Although I’m after perch, I’m not exactly complaining when a pike takes the lure.
In fact, that was just as well this morning because I didn’t catch any of the former.
I didn’t need the alarm either, as my body clock woke me up on time to be on the bank at first light.
After the short session, I was back home, showered and changed, walk my dog and then on my way to work.
