I’m enjoying my visits to the lake after perch. As there’s a lot of stuff going on in my life at the moment – all good I must add – lure fishing means I can make the most of limited time.
The latest session again saw fish on the bank. Not big perch, as you can see from the lead image, but still great fun.
There is something special about the thud that you get when a fish attacks the lure.
Fishing with braid, you certainly feel the take more than if you would be using mono on the reel.
At one stage I had a perch that took the rubber fish, which in turn was grabbed by a pike, hence the heading.
