A New Welsh Ground, As The Domestic Season Begins At Cae Baker

Progression in Europe means that there is an overlap at the moment, so in between games against Viktoria Plzeñ, The New Saints played Penrhyncoch.

The Nathaniel MG Cup (Welsh League Cup) game saw eleven changes from the side who beat Plzeñ less than two days ago.

The average age of the team was 18 and apart from ‘keeper, Connor Roberts, everyone involved was a teenager.

The final score was Penrhyncoch 2 The New Saints 1.

It was a new ground for me, which makes 61 Welsh ones in total.
