I remember interviewing Ryan Astles for the first time, when he joined The New Saints.
Since then, he’s had a great season, playing in all but one of the competitive games during 2020/21.
He scored three goals and made an average of 68.7 passes per game.
His overall contribution to the tightest defence in the league (17 conceded in 32 games) meant that he made the JD Cymru Premier team of the season.
It was good to catch up with the man himself this week at Park Hall.
