The headline says it all. It was quite late in the day when I hit the water’s edge, but by pushing myself I managed to get a short session in.
That’s the key, it’s important to keep motivated and always look to squeeze that little bit more from every day.
Plus, I was only fishing for an hour or so. Sessions don’t have to be lengthy, it’s about quality not quantity.
As always, I recorded a video while on the bank.
I fished with a Greys Prodigy 12’ rod and a Shimano 3500 reel loaded with Maxima Chameleon 4lb line.
There was 5 feet length of 2lb 8oz Ultima Virage fluorocarbon joined by a loop-to-loop knot.
The float was a 0.6g Drennan Crystal Waggler. The hook was a Drennan Super Specialist size 18.
I fished the boat channel, with brown crumb and mixed maggots and single maggot on the hook.
