I was very pleasantly surprised to encounter the first juvenile bird of the year a few days ago. That’s very early. It was still an egg in January.
There are some other birds that have now become regular visitors, so that’s great, as well as a siskin this afternoon, which is brilliant.
In addition, just as I finished recording the video, four goldfinches arrived at the same time. Equally brilliant!
