I fished with a 9’ John Wilson Masterline Debut rod and a Shimano 3500 reel, loaded with 4lb Maxima Chameleon.
The hook length of 1lb 6oz Ultima Virage fluorocarbon, was attached via a loop-to-loop knot.
I fished with a 1/4 ounce lead, with the hook length created by a size 6 shot and 5mm bead. The hook was a Drennan Super Specialist size 18.
I fished a single white maggot, over brown crumb and maggots.
