Two Species Of Fish This Time From The River Stour

With the England lockdown continuing, although fishing is allowed, it has to be local and that’s why the River Stour has featured several times so far this year in my blog entries.

I’ve been targeting roach, and I’ve caught lots of smaller fish. This time round, I added a chub to the list. There’s more in the video below.

I fished with a 9’ John Wilson Masterline Debut rod and a Shimano 3500 reel, loaded with 4lb Maxima Chameleon.

The hook length of 1lb 6oz Ultima Virage fluorocarbon, was attached via a loop-to-loop knot.

The cage feeder was a 15g Drennan, with a size 6 shot and 5mm bead. The hook was a Drennan Super Specialist size 18.
