My target for 2021, within the context of balance, is to fish as much as I can. So, not much different to every other year really.
I’m just hoping that, whatever COVID-19 restrictions the government place upon us, they still allow angling.
My third trip, on the third day of January, was on a brook this time round. You can follow the session via the video below.
I fished with a 9’ John Wilson Masterline Debut rod and a Shimano 3500 reel, loaded with 4lb Maxima Chameleon.
Via a loop-to-loop knot, there was a section of 1lb 6oz Ultima Virage fluorocarbon.
The lead was a 1/4 ounce bomb, with a size 6 shot and 5mm bead. The hook was a Drennan Super Specialist size 18.
