The latest logged addition to my memorabilia collection goes back to season eleven of the top flight of Welsh football.
Having one title to their name, at the turn of the century, followed by an eighth place and two runners-up positions – the second of the latter being the season of this medal – the signs were there of the impending dominance of TNS.
Back then, the letters stood for Total Network Solutions, with The New Saints coming later.
The 2002/2003 campaign saw TNS only lose twice, but it was Barry Town who pipped them at the post, by just three points.
