I log my personal football memorabilia collection, which goes back to the very first game that I was involved in.
The items are listed in categories, and I’m thrilled to kick-off the new season with a very special addition indeed, that also means a new page.
You can find out more via the video below, as well as a chat with Ryan Brobbel. That was done at Lilleshall, as The New Saints FC played Wolverhampton Wanderers U-23s.
The cap itself was from the Northern Ireland U-21 v Serbia U-21 Euro 2015 qualifier. On loan at Hartlepool, from Middlesbrough, Brobz scored what turned out to be nothing more than a late consolation goal.
Although a 4-1 defeat for the Irish, it was his first goal at that level. To say I’m thrilled at getting the cap – as I did earlier – is putting it mildly.
Funnily enough it’s currently sitting, not by intent but coincidence, on an ‘Irish shelf’, alongside a ball that Kurtis Byrne scored a hat-trick with and a Dean Ebbe MOTM bottle of champagne.
