Another day and another early morning start on a Black Country canal. I’ve been fishing next to locks in recent sessions and I continued that this time as well.
I caught the one bream, that you can see in the lead image, as well as smaller perch. All were caught on worm over bread crumb and dead red maggots.
I fished with the following tackle: Fox Barbel Specialist 11’ quiver tip rod and a Shimano DL2500FA reel.
The reel was loaded with 4lb Maxima Chameleon and this went straight through to a Drennan Super Specialist size 10 hook, which was attached via a blood knot.
A size 6 Dinsmores shot and a 5mm ESP shock bead created the six-inch hook-length, with a 1/4 ounce bomb above the bead.
Great blogs and vlogs look forward to reading and seeing more thankyou
Thanks, Adrian, for your kind comments. Tight lines!
