Whether working or otherwise, and regardless of the level, I always enjoy every match that I go to. On this occasion, a trip to Connah’s Quay in Flintshire for the game between Coleg Cambria and North Shropshire College, was also a new ground on the list.
The aforementioned colleges have partnerships with Connah’s Quay Nomads and The New Saints respectively, with this particular game being a Colleges Cup tie.
Although the visitors went 1-0 up, they couldn’t hold on to their lead and Coleg Cambria equalised in the dying minutes of the game. Going straight to penalties, it was just as close, with the hosts edging it 5-4.
