With a 3G pitch, Park Hall Stadium is in use for more than just first team games. The benefit of such a surface is that it can be used by the community on a regular basis, without worrying about the condition of the grass.

This summer has seen the launch of the Companies Cup that has attracted the attention of several local businesses, including BT Openreach and Scottish Power.

Also entered are teams from The Venue and TNS FC’s Academy staff and that was the game that I covered, which was my fifth at Park Hall so far this season and my sixth overall – and we’re still in June.
