Behind the media scenes at Macclesfield FC v The New Saints
There was no team bus to TNS’ game at Moss Rose, so I drove there after my angling session.
I have been to the ground before, when Graeme Classon who was the goalkeeping coach at the time, got me a complimentary ticket.
It was the very short period between Mark Yates and Sol Campbell and Graeme was actually the manager for that one game.
Macclesfield Town, as they were then, beat Yeovil Town, which means Graeme has a 100% record as a Football League manager.
Since then, the club has been through a turbulent period but it’s good to see them back on track.
