Although it was a working day, there was still fishing on the menu, but this time before I visited Park Hall rather than afterwards.
I was up nice and early, while it was still dark, and made my way to a pool for an hour or so.
It is a venue and swim that I’ve fished before, which is always an advantage when you’re on a short session.
Fishing one rod-length out in about four feet of water, it wasn’t the busiest visit I’ve ever made but I did catch.
All the action was from roach. They’re mostly small from the venue in question but occasionally you do catch something bigger, relatively speaking.
