The reality is that the doom and gloom predictions and prophecies simply haven’t come to pass and our fisheries have been unaffected by the changes.
Spawning goes on as normal and the next generation of fish come through as before, regardless of angling activity.
What about the rivers though, they still have an enforced legal close season.
