When you’re a young preacher, for example, you’re more than happy to get invited to preach at any church.
The size of the congregation doesn’t matter.
Then you become more established and in your own mind, if you’re not careful, you become bigger than you really are.
The criteria for invitations becomes how many people are there to listen to you and how much will they pay you.
