A working day so a short angling visit to a pool at first light and the last Premium Bonds draw of the year has been made

This time round both my wife and I had £100 so we were pleased with that.

As we’ve always pooled our money from day one when we got together, the £200 is shared anyway.

Well, it helps to pay the bills, which is important.

A combination of a reduced income and the cost of living situation – that we all know about – means we have to watch the pennies at the moment.

However, the other side of the coin is that I’m thoroughly enjoying my life of semi-retirement, so I’m not exactly complaining.
