After this morning’s blank – albeit in a very short lure session – I was back out again at the opposite end of the day.
This time I took my pike deadbaiting gear.
That means float fishing, which is pretty much what targeting pike means for me.
There is something very special about watching a float on the surface of the water, which is bettered only when it starts to tremble, move and disappear.
Unfortunately, on this occasion the roach and the perch didn’t do any tempting.
