It was a very enjoyable couple of hours and, although I’ll continue to fish for other species, I’m already look forward to my next pike session.
When I arrived home, I went for a walk in the local woodland with my dog.
Like fishing, I go anyway, regardless of the weather, but when it’s pleasant that’s always a bonus.
This is the time of the year when I look out for the last butterfly and I saw a red admiral.
I keep a valley nature diary here.
