In reverse, as far as size is concerned, you’ve got rivers, streams and brooks.
Then you’ve got small brooks, which by their definition are tiny waterways compared to what they become later, as they merge with others and expand in size.
I do have a love for small venues and not just flowing water but tiny ponds as well.
There’s a challenge to fishing them and a definite sense of satisfaction when you catch something.
They’re not for the kitchen-sink anglers – and I’m not being sarcastic when I say that – because travelling light is the way to go, especially on brooks.
