Talking of feeding, I had another entrepreneurial pike in the area.
When I released my first roach, it took it during that second or so as the fish recovers.
The pike came from nowhere but realised it was on to a good thing, as it continued to lurk.
They’re not on my radar just yet but it won’t be long now until I will be pike fishing.
