A pleasant day and a very enjoyable walk up the lane and then back along the golf course.
Up to, and including, the blackcap all birds seen in the lane itself.
wood pigeon, goldfinch, goldcrest, common buzzard, jay, great tit, magpie, bullfinch (male eating berries and singing), carrion crow, blackbird (juvenile, male), robin, feral pigeon, blackcap (female), black-headed gull, blue tit.
fox (crossed the lane), speckled wood, large white (2), cinnabar moth.
Pheasant calling once but not seen.
