An afternoon walk through the wood and then back along the lane.
The birds up to, and including the jay, were in the wood.
wood pigeon, robin, moorhen, mallard, nuthatch (x5), tree creeper, great tit, grey heron, jay, lesser black-backed gull, feral pigeon, jackdaw, black-headed gull, magpie, carrion crow, blackbird, greenfinch.
Small white butterfly (x2) in flight.
Walked the lane very late dusk.
Saw pipistrelle bats, two late carrion crows in flight, a robin singing and heard several tawny owls in the main wooded area.
