Cotwall End Valley nature blog – September 2022

September 2

A warm evening and, with the bedroom windows open, going to bed a calling roe deer was making its way up the western slope of the valley.

It was very close but not enough to see it.

In our old home, it was passing drunks on a Saturday evening that we heard.

I’m happy for roe deer – or any other creatures of the night, for that matter – to do their thing.
