A morning session with sweetcorn on a pool and the advantages of being organised

More often than not, when I’m going fishing in the morning, I either beat the alarm or I just wake naturally if I don’t set one.

Especially at this time of the year onwards, when dawn is much later than it is during summer.

Intending to do an early session this morning, I was awake at just the right time.

Following the usual ritual of making a flask of tea and loading the car, I was on my way within fifteen minutes.

I don’t rush but I don’t mess about either.
