The list of juvenile birds seen is as follows.
blackbird, blue tit, carrion crow, chaffinch, collared dove, dunnock, goldfinch, great tit, great spotted woodpecker, greenfinch, house sparrow, long-tailed tit, magpie, robin, sparrowhawk, starling, stock dove, wood pigeon, wren.
Naturally, the amount of birds that we get attracts the attention of sparrowhawks.
It was a beautiful day and we had the patio door open enjoying the sunshine and the breeze, when a male bird of prey swooped through the garden.
The birds scattered and because we had the door open you could hear the noises they made.
