I ended with one roach, a few dace and lots of chub.
Nothing big but a very enjoyable session overall.
I did have a big chub in the swim, behaving like a pike as it attacked fish on the retrieve.
I saw it a few times as well, clearing the shallow water.
Did I catch it?
No, but I had a hook-pull on something significant at the end.
