I caught four species of fish and, come the last cast, I was pleased with how the session had gone overall.
As far as boat traffic is concerned, this weekend is the peak.
With the schools back on soon and no more Bank Holidays until the end of the year, there is a noticeable change as the weeks progress.
The canal system does offer some excellent fishing and if you’re fortunate enough to live near to one, they’re definitely worth a go.
