Fishing the River Staffs/Worcs on a Bank Holiday weekend

It was after 6.30 p.m. by the time I had cast out and I thought the active boats I had passed walking to the swim would have been the tail end of the traffic

However, I was wrong and right up to the time I packed away which was late dusk, they kept on coming.

Of course, it meant the water had an almost continual flow, hence the reference in the title.

I still managed to catch though, which shows that while it might make angling more difficult, it certainly doesn’t bother the fish themselves.
