The highs and lows of life, a morning angling session and the one that got away

I fish with a quiver tip rod, 6lb Maxima Chameleon line, a 1/4 ounce bomb and a size 12 hook.

When I arrive, I mix a few balls of brown crumb and corn and put them out.

Then, I cast over the feed with a single grain of sweet corn.

It’s simple but it works and on this occasion I caught lots of roach and one rudd.

Although it wasn’t the biggest fish of the session, I used the latter for the lead image.
