With the heatwave on its way out, a late evening angling session and thoughts on learning a language

I fished a small waggler in the boat channel in a swim that had dense reeds along the far bank.

I went for one/two maggots on a size 14 hook, and I did have a couple of better fish on that evaded capture by slipping the Drennan Super Specialist.
