With the daytime temperature in the thirties, a refreshing night next to a pit

The hours of darkness were uneventful, in fact I didn’t get a single bleep on the bite alarms.

I did wake a couple of times during the night and it was so refreshing to be out in the open air.

When it’s dry, I always go for my Trakker shelter that is, in effect, a glorified umbrella.

I’ve had it years, decades in fact.

It was back in the nineties when it first came into my possession, courtesy of writing a few angling articles.
