I also loaded the car with fishing tackle, so after the interview, instead of going home I went to a pit.
It’s very rural and, not only did I have the place to myself as far as anglers were concerned, there weren’t any other people around either.
It’s such a peaceful place and, especially in the times in which we live, it’s nice to be the only human being for as far as the eye can see and the ear can hear.
As far as the fishing is concerned, I’ve found over the years that it’s one of those venues where you don’t catch many – if at all – but when you do they tend to be big.
