Come on England and thoughts on women’s football

It’s a big game for the Lionesses this coming Sunday, as England take on Germany in the European Championship final.

I’m looking forward to this one very much, albeit on television.

Today, I put an England flag on the garage at home and that’s my granddaughter, Nyah, in the lead image.

I’ve been following the female game for many years now, starting with Sunday afternoons supporting Wolves Women.

  1. As you know I’m not a great (well, TBH, not at all) fan of football, male or female BUT ladies T20/T100 cricket is another thing … I love it and even video it if I’ll be out when its televised although gents cricket excites me as much as football. :)

    1. I’ve only ever been to one game of cricket, Yorkshire v Warwickshire at Headingly.
Bob Willis bowled and Martyn Moxon opened, that’s how long ago it was.
      You
It’s great to see women enjoying what were seen as traditional men’s sports.
