I got back home to see the final minutes of France v Germany in the Women’s European Championship.
The particular interest on a personal level was the referee, Cheryl Foster.
My claim to fame is that I was the first person to interview her after she officiated at her first senior game in Welsh football.
She’s really pushed on since then, which was six years ago.
