The prawns were from Morrisons’ and cost £3-plus.
They were large prawns but that didn’t matter because, whether in the crumb mix or on the hook, they were broken into smaller segments anyway.
I caught three species of fish – bream, chub and perch – and they’re in the accompanying video here.
I really enjoyed the session although I must say they’re all great.
It’s been in excess of half a century since I caught my first fish and all these years later the passion is just as real.
