I’m sure we’ve all heard of the village in Wales with the long name.

In fact, it’s the longest in the UK with fifty-eight letters, and second in the world behind a place in New Zealand, which has eighty-five.

I first went to Llanfairpwllgwyn – as it’s often shortened to – when I was a child.

I can remember going on a coach trip from Rhyl, where we were staying on holiday, and we went to Anglesey for the day.
