After looking at the results and drinking my first cup of tea of the day, I was on my way to a local lake.
It was only a short session but even after a few casts, I knew it was going to be tough.
However, on this occasion I did catch, thus avoiding three blanks on the bounce.
All the action was from small perch but that’s fine.
After all, when conditions are tough even a small fish is a bonus.
